Description And features

AGM NVG-40" is a two-channel night vision device. With a 40° viewing angle, it provides a large viewing area without necessarily moving the binoculars. NVG-40 uses state-of-the-art multi-coated lenses and is designed in a space-saving compact design. Running on a single alkaline AA or CR123A power pack, the NVG can last up to 20 hours. It also has a built-in infrared illuminator for dark sensing.

For use as a hands-free NVG, it can be fitted to many types of brackets such as AN/PVS-7D, AN/PVS-14, AN/PVS-7A/C, AN/PVS-15, and AN/PVS-18, or to mini-rail interface arms.

It was important for me that the infrared pointer was of high quality. In my old binoculars, it was the first one to fail. In this model, everything is fine for 7 months already. I decided to write a review now, I hope that tomorrow it will not break)))).

Picked up for my ranch, as we do guided hog hunts. Have ran multiple NV devices, and this NVG40 tops the list. Use 4+ hours a night, and the fit and finish of housings, quality and clarity of tube are all top notch.

Purchased as an upgrade to older PVS14 that I had. Great field of view, clarity and lighter than I expected. Do need to keep extra batteries, as it runs through 1 AA quickly, haven’t ran CR123s through it yet though.
